We are currently located on plot 52 Bombo Road, ESAMI House and focus on assessment and rehabilitation of the hearing impaired persons.
For over 13 (thirteen) years KASC has been offering following services:
- Hearing assessment for children and adults
- Hearing screening for susceptible children and adults
- Provision and fitting of digital hearing aids
- Hearing conservation programs
- Assembling customized hearing aids
- Manufacturing of noise protectors and ear moulds
- Provision of Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) for mobile phones, television, MP3 players, radios and other audio equipment
- Hearing and speech therapy and rehabilitation programs
- Hearing Implant Systems program
Working in partnership with MED-EL, KASC is now poised to conduct the first cochlear implant in Uganda. With this added product on the company’s list, Ugandans and Eastern Africa in general will reap benefits of affordable a world class service nearer home.
KASC runs an ear mould laboratory with modern equipment for the manufacture of ear moulds, noise protectors (with filters) and ear plugs. KASC also manufactures custom made – In The Ear (ITE) digital hearing aids and offers a wide range of digital hearing aids for mild and severe hearing impairment.
KASC is established with office and a fully-fledged ear mould and ITE laboratory, noise isolation/sound proof booth, well calibrated hearing assessment equipment including Audiometers, Tympanometers, Warblers, Otoacoustic Emission Machines, Sound Level Meters and a wide range of other tools and equipment.
Furthermore, KASC is in partnership with Oticon, a Danish Company with world accreditation involved in research, development, production and sales of hearing aids as well as other related audiological equipment for assessment and treatment of hearing impairment.
